The Enemy Within: Book 2, Part 6

wfrp-tew-475With the trial of Wolfgang von Aschenbeck coming to a close and little time to prove his innocence, the party struggles to find any clues they can.  Suspicions abound for possible enemies of The Empire but can anybody prove it? How do you tell a Witch Hunter to back off of a witch hunt?  What happened to Emma?  Is Aschenbeck being framed? Is Adelle all she is cracked up to be? Or is everyone just pawns in a grand conspiracy orchestrated by the Black Cowl?

  • I love the emma character for what the little halfling can’t get done by her army of wafes she can solve with a pie! Its great roleplaying to here not everythinng being solved with the edge of a sword. I’ve got to get a pot pie and listen to the next one! Alan

    • Funny, I found the whole “I offer him a pie”-thing way too stereotypical, along with the usual halfling thievery… but I guess that’s all up to taste. Now – will Emma be back for Book 3?

  • Like listening. You played my “Sweet Marrow” one pager, which was fun to listen to. If you ever need a player for an online game, feel free to give me a call 🙂

  • Cheers, glad you enjoyed it 🙂
I’m curious if you have some house rules you use and if they’re available for download somewhere We ditched the party sheet and other stuff, but it’s nice to get some fresh input once in a while.

  • Thanks guys, I’ve listened to the whole campaign and it’s great fun! Last episode was really thrilling, with the PCs in so much danger. Why didn’t you let Detlev find Adele’s cultist robes when he came back to search her room again, I wondered?
Apart from that, I like the bits best when the GM improvises and uses his own words/language instead of reading text off the book. Like when you do the Luminary, or an innkeep, or…
Thrilled to see how it will all end – Greetings from Germany,
